Jamii Telecommunications Limited, also known as JTL, is a privately owned Kenyan mobile operator. JTL provides broadband services to businesses, both local and international corporates and SME'S, Government institutions, as well as residential customers under its ‘FAIBA' brand name. JTL has built an expansive Fiber Optic network with presence in all major towns in Kenya. Through its Faiba Konnect product, it offers Point-to-Point services between 2 or more routers directly communicating with each other without a host in between. In 2017, JTL was the first company to be awarded a license by the Communication Authority of Kenya to operate a pure 4G LTE mobile network using the 700MHZ frequency/spectrum in Kenya.
