Elder Voice Family Advocates (Elder Voice) is a coalition of family members and others who advocate for improved quality of life and care for loved ones who are vulnerable, whether due to age or disability. Many of our loved ones receive services in a long-term care setting. Members of Elder Voice are committed to giving voice to their loved ones and to ensuring that their stories are used to improve care and to prevent harm to other vulnerable adults. Elder Voice strives to create a safe space for families to empower them and others to be effective agents of change as a collective voice on key issues, on behalf of their loved one.Vision: Empowering families and others to be effective advocates to ensure that all Minnesota vulnerable adults due to age or disability receive quality care from senior living, home care, and long-term care providers, including working with providers, stakeholders, regulators, and legislators.
