The Mission of Norway to the European Union represents the Norwegian Goverment in Brussels and promotes it's policies and positions vis-à-vis the EU. It is led by: - Oda Helen Sletnes, Ambassador-Designate to the EU (October 2015) - Ingrid Schulerud, Deputy Head of Mission and Ambassador to Belgium The Mission has a staff of around 60, with representatives from nearly all Norwegian minsitries, reflecting the broad scope of Norway's relations with the EU. Each year, the Mission receives around 8 000 visitors, ranging from school classes and student groups to business delegations and parliamentary committees. The Mission also hosts a broad range of seminars and conferences at Norway House, often in cooperation with the EU institutions or think tanks in Brussels.
