Epping Forest Yacht Club has evolved from an historic estate into one of the most exquisite yacht clubs in the South. The original luxurious riverfront Mansion, built in the late 1920's, was home to industrialist Alfred I. duPont and his wife, Jessie Ball duPont. In 1984, Gate Petroleum Company purchased the property, restoring its original splendor.
