The Lang Thang Group was started in 2010 when three friends, Duy Nguyen, Bao Nguyen and David Le, pooled their resources to meet a glaring need for authentic Vietnamese food in Cincinnati, Ohio's Historic Findlay Market, by starting Pho Lang Thang, featuring classic Vietnamese dishes like pho, banh mi and Vietnamese Iced Coffee. Following the success of Pho Lang Thang, the group has gone on to create other restaurant concepts Quan Hapa, a modern take on Asia-wide street food in 2013; Cafe Lang Thang, a coffee bar, cafe and market in 2014 (closed); The Hi-Mark, a neighborhood roadhouse bar in 2017; as well as their own coffee brand, Lang Thang Coffee Co. in 2011.
