Oersted Auto, was established in 2017 but the idea of carbon-neutral energy solutions for mobility applications idea has been fascinating since a long time ago, because of the huge efficiency and the improvements in battery technology in recent times.This combined with the practicality of testing electric powertrain architecture with the resources we have motivated us to test on a motorcycle and that has led to the development of Oersted Auto Dawn motorcycle. And moreover, it is FUN to drive a motorcycle.All of this in addition to the multi-billion dollar two-wheeler market in India and the potential of electric mobility growth has driven us in this platform development.We at Oersted are completely focused on the core powertrain development which includes the battery, BMS, vehicle dynamics, and styling where we presently are in our second prototype phase developing in house modular battery pack to test the performance and range.
