Team Saksham International was born in 2012 as a brainchild of engineering students of VIT University, aiming to develop a race vehicle for the Baja racing events. The team currently has 49 members. It is the official BAJA SAE team of VIT University participating in Baja racing competitions held in USA and India. The team comprises of engineers passionate about designing, analyzing, manufacturing and marketing of an All-Terrain vehicle. This involves input of various departments, namely design, Power train, Braking, Vehicle dynamics, Electrical and Management. Our main objective is to design and build a race car that embraces our knowledge and passion for the automotive engineering. Also we aim to promote our University, partners and sponsors at national and international levels.
