The Academy of Himalayan Art and Child Development is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving, introducing and promoting folk music, arts and other cultural elements of the various minority groups from the Himalayan region. Our goal is to protect the endangered cultural heritage and folk traditions of the Himalayan region. By doing so, we not only contribute to the betterment of our society, but also for future generations. We do this by introducing folk music and other cultural elements from the Himalayan region to the schools and the general public throughout the United States.The entity is qualified as 501(c)3 organization with the US Internal Revenue Service.
