Our staff has worked with directly with the agencies responsible for cultural resource compliance and has over 50 years of cumulative experience ensuring trouble-free archaeological solutions. Bluestone Research was awarded a term contract for providing Archaeological Services to Defence Construction Canada from 2006 to 2009. Bluestone competently and successfully provided these services for the full term. We work with clients to enable development by creating the most effective strategy for archaeological compliance. This long experience ensures the timely and straightforward completion of archaeological projects. Our solid relationships with First Nations Communities as well as the Ontario Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sport ensures your project is completed first time, every time. In the last few years alone, Bluestone has successfully completed many archaeological projects. We have completed 45 Stage 1 studies, 34 Stage 2 assessments, 18 Stage 3's and 10 Stage 4's. Bluestone's satisfied customers include Defence Construction Canada, Infrastructure Ontario, York Developments, DST Consulting Engineers, Johnstone Homes, Drees Homes, The Tridon Group, Gateway Engineers, Paciulli Simmons and Associates, ACI Group, Massey Energy, and the U.S. National Park Service.Our staff of cultural resource specialists includes Registered Professional Archaeologists who have worked on a wide variety of prehistoric and historic projects.
