Helen's Restaurant is a popular local spot perfect for tourists, too (Concord is a big tourist town). Looks and feels like a hip diner, but the food, esp breakfast, is anything but. Since the early 1930's, Helen's has been a long-standing favorite evoking the history and character of Concord, Massachusetts. Three generations of the Denisevich family has been bringing great food, delicious desserts, and friendly service to Concord families and out-of-town visitors. From the beginning, in the early 30's, Helen Denisevich, an immigrant from Russia, opened Helen's Restaurant in this original location. She did the homestyle cooking while her husband, Paul, did the serving. Then in 1950's, George, Helen's son, opened a fill-service restaurant on Lexington Road called The Fairway. The restaurant was considered the "hot spot" for dinner and dancing during its time. In 1984, Paul, Helen's grandson and George's son, opened Brigham's Cafe, right in Helen's original location, with the intention of continuing the Denisevich legacy. The restaurant name changed to Helen's in 2003, to honor the founder of the Denisevich family restaurants in Concord. Over the years we've changed, but we still have the great food and great value. Our extensive menu offers old-fashioned American favorites to innovative diverse dishes using produce from our local farmers. Part of our success has been due to building a strong relaionship with our community and our customers. The Denisevich family welcomes you to Helen's to enjoy what's new- and what's old...
