Perrone Robotics, Inc. (PRI), based in Charlottesville, Virginia, was formed in 2003 and has been developing and deploying autonomous vehicle (AV) solutions ever since. PRI was an early pioneer to the AV space, fielding driverless vehicles in the 2005 and 2007 DARPA Grand/Urban Challenge events. PRI has a patented full stack AV software platform called MAX.
