Polymer Pavements, also known as Polyroads, is a company specialising in the manufacture of smart road materials. Aggregate consumption for roads has hit an unprecedented level, with crushed stone consumption in the U.S.A alone, in excess of 3.5 billion tonnes per annum.By using SoilTech road stabilising polymers, contractors are able to reduce the aggregate requirements for layered roads, thereby reducing construction tim and costs. These savings could amount to more than 30%. These roads are stabilised using SoilTech plastomers, providing a flexible payment with drastically reduced maintenance costs.Environmental Issues - SoilTech polymers meet all EPA standards and produces approximately 2.3% of CO2 in comparison to a conventional cement stabilized road.Furthermore, Polyroads have developed a super strong slurry seal, using non-plastic granular materials, providing a wearing course seal for roads, where no stone aggregate is available.
