The Barossa Valley Chocolate Company is a purpose-built facility situated on a vineyard just outside of Tanunda, South Australia, where the team of skilled chocolatiers create a range of over 250+ chocolate products using state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment. The Belgian chocolate is sourced sustainably, with house-made specialities such as peanut brittle, fudge, honeycomb and Turkish delight being used across multiple products in White, Milk, Dark and Ruby chocolates. In 2021, the companty was awarded the most medals at the SA Dairy Awards, including three Top Gold medals. All products are made and packaged on-site from our production team led by skilled Chocolatiers. The facility doubles as an award-winning tourism facility (2019 Silver SA Tourism Award for Best New Tourism Business and 2021 Bronze SA Tourism Award for Best Tourist Attraction) where visitors can watch the chocolatiers at work from a 14m viewing window and sample their creations on-site. A large Café overlooks the water and vineyards, with a focus on seasonal, locally-sourced produce and all-day dining options for the whole family. The attached Cellar Door hosts daily wine and chocolate pairings with Vineyard Road wines, some of which are grown on the surrounding vineyards. The Chocolatiers also create over 22 flavours of gelato and sorbet. Children's birthday parties are hosted each weekend, along with regular community events around Christmas, Easter and school holidays. With a focus on family-friendly entertainment and agritourism, the Barossa Valley Chocolate Company offers a unique destination for tourists and locals alike, championing the best of regional produce from South Australia with the best chocolate from around the world.
