"A PEOPLE HELPING PEOPLE" Ladies of Hope is A Non-profit organization based in Ennerdale, South of Johannesburg. The charity was established by Myrtle Williams back in the early 2000's. LOH was started over the past 18 years when a small group of interdenominational ladieswho went around from house to house praying for the sick and the elderly. We eventually started assisting the sick with more than just prayer. That is where the Home base care work of LOH started. The organisation has grown in numbers and our volunteers are offering their time and energy to make a positive difference in our community. The care centres are there to provide guidance, support, emotional counselling and care to the community at large. Due to the nature of our work, one of our priorities is to eventually become self-sustaining. This is so that we can in turn give more back to our community than before. Ladies of Hope is seen as a beacon of hope and we have invested our energy in running a feeding scheme for the under-privilege children in our community. We hope to one day have a long-lasting impact in our community and hopefully nationwide. We plan to reach many more disadvantaged and under-privileged people in various communities.
