Officially chartered on 17 June 2009, the Rotary Club of Central (RCC) is a non-profit organization formed by a group of 33 young professionals in our 20s and 30s from various industries, including education, trading, airline logistics, banking and finance, information technology, medical and healthcare, public relations, manufacturing, telecommunication and consultancy.One-third of the members are alumni of the Rotary Foundation and ex-Rotaractors who had previously attended international or local educational exchange programs organized by Rotary.RCC was formed to provide a platform for young professionals to collaborate our knowledge and experiences to serve the community. Following our 2009-2010 service project "Make A Wish", our signature project in 2010-2011 is "Make It Real", including a mentorship and personal development program, which are all fun-filled, meaningful and experiential to underprivileged, new children and teenage immigrants from mainland China.
