All cars have an ANCAP 5 star rating with additional vehicle features. An additional feature that customers can choose is our GreenFleet initiative – one tree will be planted for every 600km travelled in a Thrifty rental car. This initiative helps Thrifty reduce emissions, transport costs and improve transport efficiency. Thrifty has been recognised for various awards including Tourism Marketing Campaign and Customer Service. At Thrifty we want to do our part to ensure New Zealand's roads are safe.
