Our mission is to make a circular economy reality in Toronto. Impact Zero serves two groups of people: individuals, and businesses with circular systems at their core. For individuals, we help make low-impact living easy to understand, take part in, and be a leader for. We often underestimate the value of our passion, with Impact Zero beside you, we can maximize our voices, initiatives, and therefore collective power. For businesses, it's a little more complicated. If we bring everyone together to not only talk, but really understand what our collective goals are, we can find ways to grow together. There's no question the small and medium-sized businesses will be the solution to the climate crisis. When we have passionate people leading organizations, and when those people have access to resources and peers willing to collaborate and find solutions, THAT is where we can start to build scalable circular systems. There is money to be made in a circular economy that everyone is overlooking right now.My vision for Impact Zero is to shift the responsibility of living zero-waste (or low-impact) from consumers back onto businesses and governments. It is possible, it's just a matter of finding common ground and taking down barriers for everyone involved.
