ELDES Srl was founded in Florence in 1993 to provide hardware design services and software development in the field of automation and remote control of technological installations. The previous experience of its founders gave ELDES strong capabilities in the areas of digital signal processing applied to Radar Systems and to Generic Radar Simulators.Extensive national and international cooperation, together with the contribution from our US-based partner Lassen Research, thrust the rapid growth of ELDES in this market and the development of a "state of art" technology.ELDES is composed by two line of business:• RADAR METEOROLOGY, for the realization of retrofits on Weather Radar; a set of receivers and processors and for the development of X band Weather Radar.• DEFENCE SYSTEMS, in which ELDES, thanks to the experience of some of its specialists, is active since 2003 for the development of Simulators of Generic Radar which achieve accurate replica of "enemies" Radar, in order to design, validate and test the EW equipment and databases.
