Mission StatementToday's culture is no more or less than a reflection of the dreams and nightmares by yesterday's artists. Of all the artistic Muses, those belonging to the writer, the painter, and the sculptor bear the greatest responsibility in depicting for us tomorrow's triumphs and tragedies.We at Hugo House Publishers believe that our culture needs a hand. It is our main mission to pave the way, to tape the new path for a cultural rebirth, a renaissance and indeed a new Golden age, resulting in a literate and thus sane, planet - a star high goal.The above mission statement is the guiding principle behind our acquisition process. We are actively seeking work that supports it, enhances it, declares it, and indeed helps show us the way. We desire literary work that illuminates future triumphs while avoiding disasters and we'll leave the nay and doomsayers behind.It is not that there aren't other works written and produced that are worthy of publishing and we hope they all find a worthy home. It is that we feel time is of the essence and the need and indeed demand for improvement is great.
