Construction Project Coordinator at Manhattan Area Habitat for Humanity - Manhattan, KS, US
The Manhattan Area Habitat for Humanity (MAHFH), a faith based, nonprofit organization, an independent affiliate Habitat for Humanity International, seeks to establish a partnership between our community and God's people in need. Our vision is a world where everyone has a decent place to live. We believe in this vision because we know shelter is about more than four walls and a roof. A safe, secure, affordable home changes lives. Manhattan Area HFH works toward our vision in multiple ways. We help families construct and preserve their homes. Our hand up program connects people through partnerships so families can access tools and resources to improve their lives and their homes. We advocate to improve access to decent and affordable housing in our community. We achieve all of this by partnering with families, empowering communities, mobilizing volunteers and supporters, engaging corporations, foundations, governments, churches and faith groups. At this very moment, Habitat volunteers, supporters, and families are building homes, communities, and hope. What we are really building is a world where every family, every child, has a chance for a better tomorrow.Every hand helps build that world!
