LaToya has more than 15 years of experience in nursing and case management. LaToya has been an active member of the local chapter of Case Management Society of America (CMSA) since 2006, currently serving as President. She holds a certification in Case Management (CCM). LaToya is also an active member of the American Association of Nurse Life Care Planners (AANLCP), and has been a part of the Journal and Outreach Committees since 2014. LaToya was elected as the National Treasurer within the Association in 2018. She is a Certified Nurse Life Care Planner (CNLCP®). LaToya holds membership within the Triad Retirement Living Association (TRLA) and UNC-Greensboro School of Nursing Alumni Board. She is a past member of the American Bar Association (ABA). LaToya was appointed by the Guilford County Board of Commissioners to serve on the Community Advisory Committee for Guilford County from 2015-2018. This position provided assistance to the local and regional ombudsman in advocating and following up on the care of residents in long-term care facilities.
