It was the insatiable curiosity of our founder, Mr. M. Manal, that led to the discovery of Serpina, the world's and Himalaya's first natural antihypertensive drug. Science and research lies at the heart of product development at Himalaya. We combine the wisdom of traditional medicine with modern scientific research. Although our scientists have studied more than 10,000 herbs and developed a range of products, we continue on our journey to unravel the mysteries of nature. In 1999, Himalaya started its personal care business under the brand name "Ayurvedic Concepts" and was re-launched as "Himalaya Herbal Healthcare" in 2003. The personal care business now has product ranges across 6 categories – Oral Care, Hair Care, Skin Care, Lip Care, Face Care and Body Care. The company's ambition is to be a head – to – heel international brand serving markets worldwide. Our products are currently available in more than 116 countries with over 500 products spanning across the Personal Care, Pharmaceutical & Wellness, Baby Care & Mother Care and Animal Health product lines. The first Himalaya products in the Asia Pacific region were launched in 1995. Today, the company has its APAC offices and teams in Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Cambodia and Myanmar.With products available in 4 different product lines, today, you can find us in major supermarkets, convenience stores and even e-commerce channels in the region.
