Bruin Hedge Fund is a student organization at UCLA dedicated to educate its team members with the necessary skills to successfully manage investments and assets. Our members will learn to develop an investment portfolio through the use of fundamental analysis and several evaluation models in different financial sectors. BHF focuses on augmenting short-run hedging with long market positions. BHF aims to educate potential recruits on the ways in which various asset choices influence a portfolio through the management of an artificial fund invested across six sectors. These sectors include equities, fixed income, derivatives, mutual funds, commodities and currencies.
