DiscoveryBound National Leadership Council (NLC) Assistant Director
The practical and effective application of Christian Science is as much a part of our mission today as it was under Cap and Marianne Andrew's leadership over 60 years ago. Whether it's at the A/U Ranches Youth, Adult & Family Programs, 100 Elk Outdoor Center or DiscoveryBound's Outreach events, the National Leadership Council or the new Compass program for high school teens, we seek to provide inspiring recreational, leadership, service, educational and social activities for Christian Scientists and their friends, to nurture healing and a sense of community, in an atmosphere conducive to practical reliance on Christian Science. From the Adventure Unlimited headquarters in Greenwood Village, CO (Denver) we support the administrative functions for the A/U Ranches and DiscoveryBound. DiscoveryBound serves Christian Scientists and the greater community through fellowship in a dynamic, loving, healing and inspiring atmosphere, which encourages growth in an understanding of Christian Science and service to the world. We are building bridges among Christian Scientists of all ages, including youth, adults and families across the United States and beyond. The A/U Ranches, located in Buena Vista, Colorado, are a cornerstone of Adventure Unlimited's programming. The supportive and inspiring atmosphere cultivates confidence and develops moral courage for Christian Science youth, adults and families. Activities are offered year-round, including a community outreach program from the 100 Elk Outdoor Center which serves those of all faiths and economic diversity. Mission: "Opening Windows to God"
