Since 1996, Living Earth Center has provided a community growing space for members of the Greater Mankato community to come together to share common ground, grow food, and cultivate connection. We are home to one of the largest community gardens in Minnesota. In addition to providing a physical space where people can grow food and connections with others, Living Earth Center provides educational programming for youth and adults covering topics of sustainable agriculture, environmental and social justice, and community resilience. Donating produce to local organizations serving the food insecure has been part of our mandate since our inception.
