Network of Community Ministries is a 501c3 nonprofit organization with a service area encompassing the 14 zip codes in Dallas County that make up the Richardson ISD. Founded in 1985, Network began during an economic downturn when several churches and community organizations came together to form an alliance to assist families in need, and thus the term "Network" of Community Ministries was born.Today, Network is a non-denominational, community-based organization serving nearly 10,000 individuals annually through over 41,000 units of service. Current programming embodies our efforts to care, coach and empower and includes Emergency Services (food, clothing, utilities and rent), Seniors' Net (supplemental food, handyman service, companion calls, information and referrals), Stabilization Programs (Pathways case management and stability planning, Job Resource Center, Mini-loan program, and Financial Empowerment Classes), a Children & Adolescent Health & Dental Program supported by voucher distribution to the families we serve for physician and dental visits (with dental vouchers also for adults), as well as seasonal youth programming including Toyland Express, the Tooth Fairy Dental Hygiene program, and Tools for Schools.
