Freecell focuses on projects that include design and fabrication. The work examines the notion of aesthetics, craft and production, exploring objects beyond their original intention. The studio grew out of a need to engage physically with materials and mechanics to solve problems, and it is with this formula that we have created installations, designed exhibitions, and fabricated furniture for over ten years. We strive to create site-specific, three-dimensional installations that transform and question the use and perception of space.
