Focus Group Facilitator Consultant at Underground Railroad History Project of the Capital Region - Albany, NY, US
Underground Railroad Education Center researches and preserves the local and national history of the Underground Railroad movement, its international connections, and its legacy for today's social justice issues, empowering people of all ages to be agents of change toward an equitable and just society. The organization began with the purchase and restoration of the Myers Residence, home Stephen and Harriet Myers, two of Albany's most prominent Black abolitionists. UREC offers tours of the residence, serves as the home of a growing collection of primary Underground Railroad artifacts and documents, and inspires leaders of change through community engagement programs.
