More than 10 years ago, our developers imagined a resort-style senior living community perched high on a ridge in the gorgeous Connecticut countryside. It would encourage independent living, but offer a continuum of health services for residents whenever needed. In 2001, Meadow Ridge welcomed its first residents. And today, our story continues.The heart of the Meadow Ridge community is our three-story, glass-roofed atrium. This soaring space is our village square. Umbrella-shaded cafe tables make it ideal for continental breakfast, afternoon tea, or quiet reflection by a free-flowing brook that meanders through the atrium. The atrium also contains a pleasant fountain, a waterfall, and a pond.The atrium's perimeter houses our neighborhood services and facilities.This is an interconnected community - physically and socially. Yet, there is ample space and opportunity for private time.Beyond the buildings of Meadow Ridge are more than 100 acres of open space dedicated for preservation.
