Mental Health Therapist at Georgia Mountain Psychological Associates - Clayton, Georgia, United States
As a task force, we conducted a needs assessment, collaborated with stakeholders, and worked hard to identify a plan to address the lack of mental health resources in Rabun County. We wanted to increase accessibility and affordability, and we hope GMPA will be the first step toward accomplishing our mission. The Mental Health Task Force is made up of community members, law enforcement, school personnel, local mental health providers and public administration figures. It is currently being led by Rabun County Sheriff, Chad Nichols. It provides ongoing community collaboration.
