FIT was created by a group of women working at the Juvenile Court in Douglas County, Georgia that have a passion for to do more for at-risk families and youth than what was traditionally being offered in the community. There are many gaps and barriers that interfere with these families being able to receive the help and support they need to be successful. FIT is a nonprofit 501(c)3 whose mission is to increase protective factors and supports for children and families and provide evidence based practices for youth and families in Douglas County, Georgia.
