HML IRB specializes in reviewing international qualitative & quantitative survey & behavioral research in health, plus economic, educational, agricultural, market, & infrastructure research. We will help you through the process to make sure your human subject protocols are clear & comprehensive. If your protocols need additional information we will suggest appropriate language. We have also conducted annual IRB reviews for our own NIH grant-funded research projects since 1995. HML IRB is registered with the US Department of Health & Human Services; Office of Human Research Protections; (IRB # 00001211, Federal Wide Assurance # 00001102, IORG #0000850) to review research involving human subjects. We follow rules and guidelines contained the USDHHS Code of Federal Regulations for the protection of human subjects (45CFR46), and The International Compilation of Human Research Standards of over 1,000 laws, regulations, plus guidelines governing human subjects research in 107 countries and standards from several international and regional organizations. We also follow the Office for Human Research Protections (OHRP) IRB Guidebook, and the Ethical Principles and Guidelines for the Protection of Human Subjects of Research from the The National Commission for the Protection of Human Subjects of Biomedical and Behavioral Research (the Belmont Report).
