Clarke County Hospital is a critical access hospital in southern Iowa that continues to grow in order to provide our community quality services close to home. It was awarded a Top Iowa Work Place by the Des Moines Register in 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015.Patients receive out-patient and emergency care at Clarke County Hospital. The diagnostic imaging department houses advanced digital equipment to enhance images for clearer diagnosis. The hospital campus includes a physical therapy department and the UnityPoint Clinic - Family Medicine at Clarke County. Noteworthy hospital accomplishments include an advanced telemedicine system for in-patient and out-patient procedures. Both telemedicine and visiting specialists provide our community specialized care for cardiology; nephrology; oncology; hepatology; general and vascular surgery; orthopedics; dermatology; pulmonology; gastroenterology; urology; and ear, nose and throat (ENT) services.Clarke County Hospital holds a management agreement with UnityPoint Health-Des Moines.
