The School of Information Studies (iSchool) at Syracuse University is The Original Information School in the nation. Formed in 1896 as a library school, it was renamed in 1974 to reflect its embrace of the broader field of information.The iSchool is a leading center for innovative programs in information policy, information behavior, information management, information systems, information technology, and information services.
