Book'em gives thousands of books to underprivileged children in Nashville each year, many of whom do not have books of their own at home. In 2018, over 100,000 books went out into the community through our Books for Nashville's Kids and Reading is Fundamental programs. The majority of the books we give away are donated to us by individuals and through book drives conducted by schools, businesses, and organizations. We also send reading role model volunteers into the community to read to preschool and elementary children each school year.
