Hot Rod Institute is an alternative to the typical automotive type school. The specialty car industry needs a school that trains students the skills and tasks that are in high demand in the Hot Rodding industry. Hot Rod Institute is a hot rod & custom restoration only school; we do not offer training for the repair industry or try to mix the two industries. Hot Rod Institute has six different classes for the student to choose from in this specialized industry. The student can take all six classes or just one, depending on the student's educational desires and/or budget.These are the 6 different classes we offer; each class is 3 months in length. Hot Rod Chassis (HRC) All chassis & frame fabrication, welding and general fabrication.Hot Rod Body (HRB) All sheet metal Fabrication and restoration for both cars & motorcycleHot Rod Body Advanced (HRBA) a lot more on the sheet metal fabrication working with power fabrication tools,Hot Rod Performance (HRP) Automotive mechanical & electricalHot Rod Refinishing) HRR) Finish body work, prime, show refinish, final assembly & custom workHot Rod Upholstery (HRU) Automotive Trim & UpholsteryA student can take as many or as few classes as they feel they need to help them be better prepared for the specialty car industry… The Rod Shop @ Hot Rod InstituteWe also run a very busy Hot Rod and Classic Car Restoration shop.
