The Hawaii Visitors and Convention Bureau (HVCB) represents the Hawaiian Islands in the highly competitive arena of destination marketing. The mission of HVCB is to create sustainable, diversified, travel destination demand for the Hawaiian Islands. The strategic principles of innovation, integration, inclusion and accountability serve as the foundation of HVCB's marketing direction. HVCB is a private, non-profit, 501 (c)(6) organization. It is truly a public-private partnership: a marketing organization with visitor-industry and general business representation, government funding, Island Chapters which promote the interests of the individual counties, and specialized divisions which focus on vertically integrated areas of expertise. It promotes leisure and business travel, including meetings and conventions, and acts as a catalyst for improving and expanding Hawai‘i's wide-ranging product offerings and experiences, while creating economic opportunities through tourism. It is contracted on a four-year basis to market the Islands under the auspices of the Hawai‘i Tourism Authority, which has global oversight for the State in matters concerning the visitor industry.Additional websites: www.GoHawaii.com, www.MeetHawaii.com, and Agents.GoHawaii.com
