MedTran is a non-emergency medical transportation provider in Coeur d'Alene, ID and Spokane, WA. We serve individuals requiring assistance due to injury, disability, health condition, or lack of reliable transportation. Our vans are 2013 Dodge Grand Caravan models that have been fully modified by BraunAbility. With the client in mind, our rear entry loaded vans allow for less maneuvering once inside the vehicle and easier parking at hospitals and medical facilities-- which can often be tough. Street parking, standard parking lots, and loading and unloading under hospital and facility awnings is a breeze! ​ Safety should be the number one priority with any business, and we are no different. Our NexTraq software provides us with Driver Safety Scorecard Reports that identify aggressive driving behaviors such as speeding, harsh breaking, harsh acceleration and sudden cornering and ranks drivers based on their performance on these key behaviors. We also remove the distraction and temptation of checking cell phones while the vehicle is in motion. We supply all of our drivers with iPhones and use CellControl technology to prevent talking, texting, email and surfing while driving. Our drivers have successfully passed a state health and welfare background check, drug screen, clean driving record and completion of a defensive driving course, and are CPR and First Aid certified. They pick each client up at their door and safely deliver them to their desired location.
