Most alternative meat products are highly processed. Fiber Foods developed a new approach of using the clean fibers from healthy and climate smart fruits and vegetables from Africa to replace texturized protein.Instead of transporting whole fruits or fruits in brine, we dehydrate them and reduce their volume by 80%. The fibers are dried locally at the hubs near the farms and then exported to The Netherlands where we turn them in our specialty mixes ready for use in a wide range of plant-based protein products.
