The business started out operating vessels all over the coast, servicing a wide range of clients that needed reliable sea worthy vessels for passenger transport. The company expanded in 1997 to service Shipping Agents, Pacific Pilotage Authority, BC Ferries, Prince Rupert Airport Society and the local School District. West Coast Launch has become very diversified in its business with both commercial and tourism ventures. Our most popular tour is the world famous GRIZZLY BEAR TOUR. We take you to the majestic Khutzeymateen Grizzly Bear Sanctuary aboard our 72 foot catamaran during the months of May, June and July. Our second tour is our WHALE WATCHING TOUR which starts at the end of July and runs to the end of September. On this tour you will have the opportunity to see many different kinds of marine wildlife in their natural habitat including Humpback and Killer Whales (Orca Whales).
