Manager- The Heritage Management Organization Public Engagement Program
The Heritage Management Organization (fka Initiative for Heritage Conservation) was established in November 2008 as a not-for-profit charity with the aim of training heritage leaders. HERITΛGE is promoting best practice in archaeological site management and planning all over the world. It achieves its aims through tapping highly trained human resources, developing educational programs at all levels, fostering research, facilitating access to relevant information, as well as stimulating discourse. Since summer 2009, the Organization is under the auspices of the Greek Ministry of Culture, has trained more than 365 heritage managers from 56 countries.The Organization also hosts the MA in Heritage Management, a collaborative postgraduate degree awarded by the University of Kent and Athens University of Economics and Business. Now in its sixth cohort, the Masters program facilitates student learning through both theoretical and practical application, and supports them to enhance their employable skills through internship and project work.
