Smart Waste has a national footprint with the head office based in Gauteng and a branch in the Western Cape. Smart Waste employs over 500 staff members who have been headed up by Tatiana Macitela and Clint Ralph since 2008. The company a proudly B-BBEE Level 2 company. Smart Waste offers a waste recycling and onsite waste management service assuming responsibility for all waste streams. This is more cost effective, eliminates double handling and minimises the carbon footprint. We provide a full solution from inception to disposal which encompasses the legal and regulatory framework relating to waste management. Onsite management improves control and reduces theft and pilferage. Our primary focus is "zero to waste landfill" by reducing waste volumes through innovation and finding alternative uses for waste materials. Smart Waste provides monthly reports on waste removal and recyclable collections. Staff and stakeholders are all specifically trained in the principles of recycling. The company is owner managed with a customer centric approach. We provide a professional service with senior management also visiting all sites monthly to ensure a fully integrated onsite service.
