Mother Goose Time, an imprint of the Experience Early Learning Company, is a research-based preschool curriculum that fosters a joy for learning through sensory-based experiences. Since 1984, this nationally recognized preschool curriculum has supported a child's social-emotional, physical and cognitive development. Thematic resources support educators in providing hands-on experiences where children learn by doing. Consistent with the research by both John Dewey and Jean Piaget, Mother Goose Time believes that children learn best through creative expression, play and open-ended discovery. At the core of all learning is a trusting and loving relationship. Mother Goose Time is uniquely designed to support educators, allowing them more time to observe, know, and be with children. Mother Goose time provides concrete materials and ideas on how to inspire young children through art, music, logic games and hands-on investigations. Whether educators teach preschool in a classroom, living room - or even under a tree! - Mother Goose Time is flexible, adaptable and easy to use.All Experience Early Learning educational materials and assessment tools support and track a child's on-going social, physical and cognitive development. The curriculum uniquely weaves 33 research-based skills through monthly activities and discovery projects. As children participate in the Mother Goose Time program, they are naturally exposed to skills which support their on-going social-emotional, physical, language and cognitive development. These skills, when combined with a nurturing environment, intentional teaching practices, and meaningful relationships support a child's school readiness. Each Mother Goose Time activity integrates at least two or three domains (for example social + physical + math) to offer children rich multidisciplinary learning opportunities. A skill numbering system is applied throughout all Mother Goose Time curriculum and all supplementary teaching tools.
