Since 1967, the Safety Council has been working to make Palm Beach County a safer place to live, work and play. We reduce traffic crashes-More teens than ever have received driving lessons (over 35,000!) via our Behind the Wheel Driver Education. This makes the roads safer for everyone!Our Childsaver child safety seat service provides education so parents can install seats tightly and correctly in their own vehicles. We provide extremely low cost seats too! Recently, we spoke to a mom who attributed her 18 month old son's safety in a rollover crash to the sound advice and tips she received from the Council. Baby In Back!, our newest public education campaign, provides a visual reminder for busy distracted parents to not forget that their child is in the back seat.We help businesses implement safety programs and provide many training's and seminars throughout the year.
