The Wolf Prize is awarded annually to scientists and artists from around the world to highlight their achievements in the interest of humanity. The $100,000 prize is granted for medicine, agriculture, mathematics, chemistry, physics, painting, sculpture, music, and architecture. The decision as to whom to award the prize is made by a multinational jury committee consisting of world-renowned professionals. The Wolf Prize is presented at a ceremony at the Israeli President's Residence attended by the president and other dignitaries.
