Liberia Economic Development Initiative (LEDI) is a Cleveland-based 501(c) (3) charitable organization founded in 2007 with a mission of improving the lives of impoverished Liberians who have been burdened by years of chronic poverty, following a 15 year civil war, and the recent West African Ebola epidemic. LEDI provides youth educational scholarships to severly impoverished children, vital medical and relief supplies, micro-business grants and is working to build a modern public library in Liberia.
