Our software sits inside Police computers and receives every log generated by any entry in the Evidence Collection Monitoring System.It also uses a smartphone app for Officers and Evidence Technicians that allows them to create a digital fingerprint of physical evidence, digital photos, videos, bodycam footage, and audio recordings of suspect, witness, and victim statements immediately upon collecting them at the scene. Because only a digital fingerprint is generated to prove the validity of the evidence, the evidence itself remains in the custody of the Police, while the digital fingerprint is published to a website for transparency to the public. If the evidence is lost, stolen, tampered, or tainted while in the chain of custody, all subsequent digital fingerprints are immediately invalidated, making it impossible to tamper, taint, or lose evidence without discovery.Every Law Enforcement Agency with Blockchain of Evidence has an exact and complete up to the minute copy of the same blockchain, making it impossible to change any evidence without immediate detection.Police don't have to change anything for this to work.By proving evidence integrity from the minute it is collected, Blockchain of Evidence enables Police, Courts, and citizens to begin to trust the Criminal Justice System again.
