Mad About Music is a platform that will be promoting timeless, nostalgic music as well as music with substance. We cover Hip Hop/Rap, R&B/Soul, Alternative R&B, Spoken Word & other international genres such as Reggae/Dancehall & Afro. The whole purpose of Mad About Music is to bring a feel good feeling to the scene, promote new musicians as well as DJs/Producers, songwriters and anyone involved in the music creation process, whilst informing the people about new releases, educating them on the history of cultural music, and teaching them about the legends and pioneers in the game. The type of artists we want to promote are artists that make music with that timeless, nostalgic feel as well as purposeful music and and artists who are highly skilled at their craft. The way we plan to promote timeless, meaningful, nostalgic music is through Online Content such as, podcasts, documentaries, blogs, social media & more. We are still in the early stages with the platform and are constantly looking for creative people and music heads that share a similar vision to come and be apart of something from the ground up.At the rear end of 2020 we started a Podcast called ‘Who Loves R&B?' (@wholovesrnb) where everything R&B is discussed between a collective of R&B heads. The podcast is also trying to shed more light on UK R&B with our UK Spotlight segment at the end of the podcast where a member plays a song from an UK R&B artist. We feel as if there are a lack of podcasts or shows that discuss R&B specifically especially here in the UK. Our aim is to be the hub for UK R&B artists to come to when promoting a new single, album or simply to come on and just talk music. We currently have a few episodes out on YouTube & Soundcloud. We are always trying to take things to a new level. In terms of how it looks visually & creatively with the topics & guests. I am also proud to say we managed to gain three interviews with upcoming artists KayFarway, Vanessa Jamie & Kevin Ross.
