Talbert Building Supply's roots date back to the late 1930s when Edd and J.D. Talbert began harvesting timber for a sawmill. The brothers founded Roxboro, NC, based Talbert & Talbert Lumber Co in the 1950s. In 1983, Edd's son Danny added a retail store that would later become Talbert Building Supply, Inc. Since then, we have added branches in Durham, Clarksville, VA, Asheboro, Clemmons, and Danville, VA.Our membership in Lumbermens Merchandising Corporation (LMC) gives us billions of dollars in buying power and access to industry-leading lumber mills and brands, market intelligence, and innovative building solutions. This relationship and our strong supplier partnerships enable us to source a broad and ever-growing choice of products and services.We remain an independent, family-owned business that can quickly respond to our customers' needs with exemplary service.
