Our collective position is that the energy consumer of today is seeking immediate alternatives to the traditional power delivery options currently in place. Energy consumers across the US are experiencing price increases due to a variety of market and environmental factors. With less than 1% of the power currently generated coming from renewable sources the alternative energy market is in its infancy with a growth curve ahead unlike any other technology acceptance and adoption in the past century including the internet. AbsolutePower generates power from renewable fuel sources close to the markets that will consume clean sustainable electricity. Our model calls for the consumption of already available fuels currently cast off as byproducts from agriculture and municipal waste, specifically Biogas. Biogas typically refers to a gas produced by the biological breakdown of organic matter in the absence of oxygen. Biogas originates from biogenic material and is a type of biofuel. Biogas is a renewable fuel and electricity produced from it can be used to attract renewable energy subsidies in some parts of the world. In the US markets AbsolutePower operates with the ability to create Renewable Energy Certificates which contribute to our ability to reduce the carbon footprints of our customers.
